The rangoli we did at our college fest

That's the rangoli that my friend and I did at the competition at my college fest. We didn't win anything. Well, no comments about that. But we are really glad that a lotta people liked it and took pictures. :) We had fun doing it anyways :) For those who need an explaination, the picture has a female foetus (thats why the caption says 'her'), who is dreaming to fly high, but is being killed and the dream is being plucked off in the bud itself. We just meant to say, stop female foeticide. :)

@arun- thanks.. ya i guess i shud have put a hat there :)

@sharath and pratap- well, the non judging staff and other people thought the same way as u. but only the judges dint like ours. prizes were given to the traditional rangolis- the chukki rangolis ya. people used strainers and stuff. but we had done with hand only. anyways, i'd say two prizes were kinda fixed even before competition started..some bias u see. so competition was for just one more prize which we dint get..anyways, glad that many people liked it :)
